2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt Orders Start Rolling in for Late Summer

The limited-edition 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt is officially on sale for pre-order, and the orders are rolling in at Ford dealerships across the country. The Bullitt won’t be available to drive until late summer, but this exclusive 480-horsepower generating Mustang is already drumming up excitement.

Inspired by the 1968 Mustang GT fastback featured in the movie Bullitt starring Steve McQueen, the new Mustang Bullitt will be offered on the GT Premium trim and will feature the Performance Package, bringing together sleek styling, luxurious features, and serious power.

In honor of the movie Bullitt, which showcased a Highland Green Mustang GT, the special edition Mustang Bullitt will come in just two colors: Shadow Black and the classic Dark Highland Green. Red-painted Brembo brakes join a black grille and chrome accents for unique, standout styling.

With an impressive 420 lb-ft of torque and speed topping out at 163 miles per hour, eight mph higher than the latest Mustang GT, the Mustang Bullitt is one of the most powerful cars ever made. Its larger throttle body combined with its performance open air intake and Mustang Shelby GT350 intake manifold make for incredible power and the unique powertrain control module deliver the boost needed to take it up to its 480 horsepower.
