Set to debut in 2020, the iconic Ford Bronco is getting ready to rock your world. Since the vehicle hasn’t been officially revealed, not much is known about this upcoming boxy, rugged vehicle. However, there are plenty of rumors involving new features and updates for the Ford Bronco return.
Regarding its powertrain, rumors suggest that the Bronco will share the Ranger’s 2.3-liter, turbocharged inline-four engine that delivers 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, channeled through a 10-speed automatic transmission. Speculation also posits that the Bronco will eventually gain an available manual transmission, a V6 engine, and a hybrid variant.
When it comes to its adventure-ready engineering, the Bronco has even more tricks up its sleeve. Reports indicate that the vehicle will boast removable doors, as well as a removable top. With its open-air design, the Bronco is the perfect vehicle for soaking up the sun, getting in touch with nature, and maybe even enjoying some muddy off-road fun.
So far, it looks like the Bronco is on track for a late-2020 release. It’s set to be built in America, at the Wayne, Michigan Ford Assembly Plant.
