Ford Creates the Bronco Wild Fund to Preserve the Environment

Bronco Wild Fund | Brownsville, TX

Ford has created the Bronco Wild Fund to lend a helping hand to the environment. With this fund, Ford will give $5 million to important environmental causes each year, beginning with Outward Bound USA and the National Forest Foundation.

Ford will put a portion of the proceeds from both Bronco and Bronco Sport sales in the Bronco Wild Fund. This portion will not only be put towards the fund but also towards planting 1 million new trees by the end of 2021.

Outward Bound USA, which provides environmental education to young people, and the National Forest Foundation, which prioritizes reforestation in the U.S., are the first to get the $5 million donation. Future beneficiaries may focus on trail maintenance, restoration, forest health, or fire mitigation.

The Bronco plays such an integral role in the fund because it’s the ultimate off-roader and the best off-roading adventures typically involve nature. This is just one of the many reasons why Bronco drivers may want to help preserve nature through the fund.

Mark Grueber, Bronco brand marketing manager, said, “The Bronco Wild Fund will help Bronco owners and off-road enthusiasts connect with the outdoors on a deeper, more personal level — ultimately enabling them to become responsible stewards of our nation’s treasures.”

We at Tipton Ford in Brownsville, Texas, look forward to seeing all the good that the Bronco Wild Fund will do moving forward. If you’re looking to buy an off-roader or need any other assistance today, don’t hesitate to give us a call.
